See how the chick fights its way up onto its mother……bless!

The latest video shows a caterpillar making a bid for freedom as mum and dad have missed feeding him to the chicks!

You get quite a good view at the size of the chick in this particular clip. One thing that I’ll research for next year is a better camera where I can maybe remotely adjust the focus. I manually set the focus when I built the bird box using a tape measure as “a bird” and focused it to look clear!

All the hard effort with setting up the camera, managing the hosting and e-mail services have finally paid off!

Looks like 8 eggs as of this morning, 7 around and 1 in the middle!

Well she’s getting more careful to cover her eggs up.

Well on the third day we had 3 eggs, any bets as to how high this clutch will go!!

We’ve been eggspeciting it for quite a while and our eggspactations have been high but I can confirm that overnight we’ve had our first egg!

Lot’s more softer nesting materials have been added to the nest over recent days. She’s stil sleeping overnight so don’t forget to check the live picture on my blog to see her asleep!
